Job Summary
The Central Plant Operator will operate and maintain heating, air conditioning, life safety, and related equipment to provide a comfortable, safe environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance, monitoring control panels, responding to maintenance emergencies, and completing minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Required skills include reliability, good mechanical aptitude, and clear communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for relevant college degrees and prior experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems. The position is full-time with a salary range of $16.00 to $18.00 hourly.

- Good mechanical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and over a 2-way radio
- Ability to exhibit maturity in the workplace and have a cooperative attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in related field preferred
- Prior Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC Systems experience preferred
- Any combination of experience or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities preferred
