Oversee department operations including general grounds keeping and cotton bale yards; direct employees while also performing the work of supervised employees; maintain positive relationships through clear communication and respectful interaction; inspect machinery, air compressors, and bale seals for issues; enforce safety policies and provide PPE; identify and report hazards; address employee performance and disciplinary actions as needed; manage all timekeeping for employees; collaborate as part of a team while providing leadership and direction; adapt to a fast-paced environment; stay observant, organized, and detail-oriented; maintain professionalism under pressure while handling multiple priorities.
