Job Summary
The Central Mix Concrete Plant Operator is responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment in heavy highway paving operations. Key responsibilities include performing general maintenance on plant operations, troubleshooting breakdowns, operating and inspecting machines, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in paver equipment repair. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with paver equipment maintenance and OSHA certifications. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks is essential.
