Job Summary
Stock and sell products to new and existing retail customers while organizing, cleaning, and preparing the back area for incoming deliveries. Keep the sales floor uncluttered and free from spills, rotating items as needed to ensure freshness and quality. Reset products and maintain shelf conditions, checking shipments for out-of-date or damaged goods to meet federal, state, and company regulations for safety and sanitation. Apply suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales under immediate supervision. Requires 0-2 years experience, ability to manage loads up to 50 lbs, and work in extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and food preparation
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment used preferred
