Job Summary
Stock and sell products to new and existing retail customers while organizing, cleaning, and preparing the back area for incoming deliveries. Keep the sales floor uncluttered and free from spills by resetting products, maintaining shelf conditions, and ensuring integrity of tags and signage. Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged items to guarantee freshness and quality, and ensure all federal, state, and company regulations for safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met. Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales and maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control. This part-time role requires 0-2 years of experience, the ability to manage loads up to 50 lbs, and extensive knowledge of specialty food products.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and food preparation
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs
