Job Summary
Conduct daily production of hot foods including rotisserie chicken and sandwiches by cutting, slicing, and dicing ingredients per recipe specifications and SOPs. Manage multiple cooking venues and catering orders while using production planning tools to ensure 100% in-stock levels. Maintain temperature integrity of all ingredients and equipment, and uphold sanitation standards in food preparation areas. Provide accurate, fast delivery of e-Commerce orders and assist guests with menu knowledge and internal customer service needs. Perform duties in a fast-paced retail environment requiring extended hours and rotating schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 18+
- 1+ years of experience in commercial foodservice
- Experience in food preparation and equipment
- Culinary knowledge
- Understanding of nutritional values and ingredients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reading and writing skills
- Technology skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Culinary math skills for recipe conversion
- Ability to execute high-volume production
- HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Culinary certification, or equivalent culinary training / work experience
- Function in a fast-paced, retail environment
- Work extended hours and / or rotating schedules
- Safely maneuver around moving mechanical parts
- Constantly stand, walk, reach at waist, grasp
- Frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic materials
- Frequently be exposed to heat
- Occasionally reach at overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot twist, push / pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction
- Occasionally be exposed to wet, cold, ambient temperatures, and loud noise
- Demonstrate the ability to lift 80 lbs, and manage in excess of 80 lbs with a team lift
