Job Summary
Stock and sell products to new and existing retail customers while organizing, cleaning, and preparing the back area for incoming deliveries. Keep the sales floor uncluttered and free from spills, resetting products and maintaining shelf conditions to ensure tag and signage integrity. Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged items, verify federal and company regulations for product freshness and sanitation, and assist in merchandising to maximize sales using suggestive selling techniques. This full-time role requires 0-2 years of experience, a passion for food, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures while lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of specialty food products and food preparation
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Must be able to manage in excess of 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs
