Central Fill Pharmacy Technician

Remove out of date and expired medications using proper company procedures. Perform, under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the direct preparation and filling of prescriptions, including non-auto counted drugs. Label bottles and prepackaged items accurately while replenishing canisters with consumables needed for fulfillment. Operate semi-automatic cabinets to fill customer orders and maintain a neat, clean work environment to ensure compliance with company and government requirements. Report errors, omissions, and incidents to the Pharmacist on duty and recognize or escalate system issues as needed. Train and mentor new department team members while adhering to all state, federal, and HIPAA policies. Maintain production rates and meet quality expectations as determined by leadership.
