Central 3rd Grade Teacher

Provides direct instruction to third-grade students in individual, small group, and full classroom settings, guiding learning toward district core content standards using Iowa Core and North Polk standards. Establishes clear lesson objectives, applies diverse instructional strategies and materials, creates a conducive learning environment, plans and evaluates learning, maintains accurate records, and communicates with parents. Adheres to Iowa Teaching Standards, demonstrates initiative and collaboration, seeks professional development, and participates in district committees and school improvement efforts. Additional duties as assigned by the principal.
