Job Summary
Centex Materials LLC is seeking professional Concrete Mixer Truck Drivers to load, transport, and unload ready mix concrete. Responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, maintaining truck upkeep, ensuring safe delivery to job sites, communicating with customers, and complying with federal and state regulations. Applicants should possess a valid CDL, complete physical fitness as per DOT standards, and demonstrate proficiency in basic math, along with effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, understand, read and write English.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Current, valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum age of 21 years old required.
- Satisfactory driving and criminal record.
- Demonstrated proficiency with simple math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (especially percentages) as well as measurements.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions (oral and written) and to work independently.
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of the local area is preferred.
- Prefer at least one year of experience driving heavy equipment especially in construction or construction-related positions.
- Prefer stable work record to include no more than 3 jobs in the past 5 years.
