Scrub, assist the RN circulator, and manage supplies and equipment in the operating room. Set up and break down procedures, restock rooms to meet par levels, and prepare cases for the next day. Clean operating rooms between cases, disinfect surfaces, and ensure proper instrument counting and sterile technique. Pass instruments to the surgeon, anticipate needs, and communicate with circulators to maintain efficient progress. Verify medication strength and dosage, prepare specimens, and follow exposure control plans. Assist in patient transport and gowning while maintaining equipment integrity. This full-time role includes Monday through Friday coverage with no weekends, calls, or holidays.
