Job Summary
Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers while developing and maintaining consumer-driven services that empower individuals in recovery. Deliver curriculum-based groups and workshops on skills training, recreation, and self-awareness to members and participants. Manage program operations including budget oversight, Medi-Cal billing, and compliance with county and agency standards. Coordinate hiring, training, and performance evaluations; ensure accurate record-keeping and weekly data reporting. Represent management, uphold agency policies, and foster an inclusive environment through trauma-informed practices and collaborative communication. Connect members to community resources and lead outreach activities to educate the public on mental health recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- minimum of six months of experience in a mental health/social service setting
- 2 years' experience in a mental health/social service setting
- lived experience as a consumer or family member of mental health services
- responsible and reliable
- problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Well-defined organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Ability to handle intense situations
- good judgment and decision-making skills
- remain calm and clearheaded under pressure
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of people and personality types
