Job Summary
Display and stock products on the sales floor, properly fill and rotate shelves, and maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments. Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room while handling spoiled or damaged products per established guidelines. Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered and ensure all guest experience, safety, and food safety guidelines are followed. May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- Retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- The employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- The employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
