Job Summary
Coordinate and administer the Center's Behavior Management System and Leadership Program in compliance with DOL, corporate, and Center policies. Prepare statistical data for monthly reports on disciplinary activities and ensure proper documentation and closure of all disciplinary systems. Provide behavior management training to all staff annually and within 30 days for new hires, while establishing dorm and education courts to encourage positive student behavior. Monitor the Student Behavior Management Council, including training board members and supervising elections and hearings. Evaluate personnel for disciplinary actions, promotions, or merit increases, and assist in monitoring the effectiveness of the student leadership program. Maintain active coordination with Case Management Teams and ensure staff receive weekly written feedback on student incidents. Adhere to all required property control policies, safety practices, and Code of Conduct systems to support student employability.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel
- Computer Literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat
- Analyze data and situation(s); render judgement, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work in fast paced deadline-oriented situation
- High level of management and leadership skills
- One to two years related experience and/or training
- One-year experience working with youth or young adults
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in human services, juvenile justice, or related field
- Valid State Driver's License
