Job Summary

Lead instruction and case management for students with disabilities across nine center-based programs, delivering targeted academic, behavioral, and life-skills content to three to five classes daily. Serve as an IEP Case Manager by writing data-driven goals, monitoring progress, and collaborating with general education staff and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications. Supervise and develop a team of paraprofessionals while actively participating on the MTSS Team to champion diverse learners. Monitor student growth through various assessment tools and pursue professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role supports students with a range of disabilities, including those with intellectual, autism, and severe needs, within DSST's network of top-rated Denver schools.

Required Qualifications

Has both a teaching license and a special education endorsement
Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
Must have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to talk and hear
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch throughout the day
Must be available for in-person position
Must be available for school year round status
Must be available for weekend shifts (implied by school year round)
Must be available for relocation stipend eligibility (75 miles or more from Denver)
