Job Summary
Provide donor examinations to determine donor suitability, build rapport with donors, ensure donor and staff confidentiality, educate donors on general health, manage donor injuries/adverse events, administer the Hepatitis vaccine program, assist in employee training, and evaluate donor history to maintain continued donor suitability; requires current LPN/LVN license or equivalent in the state of employment and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with CPR certification
- Currently licensed/certified in the state of employment
- Center Medical Specialist responsibilities in plasma donation centers
