Center Medical Spec - EMTB Portland Holgate

Conduct physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability at the plasma donation center. Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction while ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, providing education on general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. Perform evaluations of illness or medication history to ensure continued donor suitability and assist in employee training. Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program. Perform duties requiring standing or sitting for up to four hours daily, with bending, twisting, and light lifting capabilities. Work independently within guidance, handling exposure to biological fluids and extreme cold in freezers.
