Job Summary
Lead the clinical team at the center by practicing primary care at 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time. Coordinate provider onboarding, model excellent medical care, and ensure evidence-based implementation of Oak Street's clinical guidelines and care model. Support organizational strategy by collaborating with practice and outreach managers to drive initiatives, cascade information, and escalate concerns. Conduct performance reviews, coach providers on goals, and address root causes when metric goals are not reached. Listen to feedback and celebrate team successes to maintain a positive culture. Requires M.D., D.O., or A.P.N./P.A. with board certification and 5+ years in outpatient practice. Full-time, 40 hours weekly, salary $174,070 - $374,920.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or A.P.N or P.A. graduates
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required for M.D. or D.O.
- Board certification in Family, Adult, or Gerontology for A.P.N.
- Experience in clinical leadership roles, leading and coaching providers to be the best they can be for their patients and their colleagues
- Experience using a metrics-driven approach to the provision of medical care and/or quality projects
- US work authorization
- 5+ years of experience in outpatient practice preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics
- Other professional degrees (e.g., M.B.A., J.D., M.P.H.)
- Prior executive roles
