Job Summary
Lead the clinical team at the Tyler center by practicing primary care alongside provider colleagues at 80% clinical time and 20% administrative time. Support organizational strategy by collaborating with the Practice Manager and Outreach Manager to implement strategic initiatives, cascade information to care teams, and escalate concerns to regional leadership. Manage provider onboarding, model excellent medical care, and ensure evidence-based implementation of clinical guidelines and value-based care models. Conduct performance reviews, coach providers on goal achievement, and address root causes when center metric goals are not reached. This full-time role requires 40 weekly hours and is located at 2115 s Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75701. Candidates must hold an M.D., D.O., or A.P.N. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or A.P.N or P.A. graduates
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required for M.D. or D.O.
- Board certification in Family, Adult, or Gerontology for A.P.N.
- Experience in clinical leadership roles, leading and coaching providers to be the best they can be for their patients and their colleagues
- Experience using a metrics-driven approach to the provision of medical care and/or quality projects
- US work authorization
- 5+ years of experience in outpatient practice preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics
- Other professional degrees (e.g., M.B.A., J.D., M.P.H.)
- Prior executive roles
