Job Summary

Deliver direct patient care in clinic and via tele-medicine while ensuring integrity of clinical procedures, documentation, and up-to-date protocols. Manage daily medical functions, clinical staffing, and scheduling to optimize patient outcomes and meet key performance indicators. Serve as the primary contact for employer clients regarding injured employee care, conducting onsite tours and educational presentations to build trust and grow the client base. Provide supervisory oversight for all physicians, advanced practice providers, radiology techs, and medical assistants, including peer reviews, chart audits, and annual evaluations. Lead weekly Clinic Leadership Team meetings, identify quality improvement opportunities, and shape the center's culture through peer-based learning and performance recognition. Review center financial performance and KPIs with the clinic administrator to implement action plans for optimal productivity and service optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • MD/DO
  • FMCSA certification for DOT exams, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Current state licensure in good standing (or in process)
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Current BLS certificate
  • Solid, demonstrated knowledge of the practice and application of occupational medicine
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services
  • Working knowledge of worker's compensation and clinical procedures/processes
  • Working knowledge of diagnoses and treatment of occupational injury and disease
  • Working knowledge of medical office administration and procedures
  • Sound administration and management skills
  • Ability to instruct, teach, and correct
  • Confident and professional demeanor with medical providers, administrators, and clients
  • Board Certification in primary specialty: Occupational Med, Family Med, Internal Med, Emergency Med, PMR, Orthopedics

Desired Qualifications

  • Occupational Medicine experience
  • Experience in UC, FP, IM, ER, Sports Medicine, or Ortho
  • MRO certification
  • Ability to perform treadmill stress tests
