Job Summary
Center Manager responsible for leading 10+ animal-care professionals, overseeing daily care routines (feeding, medicating, grooming, exercise, and playtime with the ability to lift large dogs), maintaining meticulous health and behavior records, enforcing safety protocols, collaborating with the District Manager on emergencies and facility standards, mentoring and coordinating a team, building schedules for service excellence and budget efficiency, delivering exceptional client service, managing payroll and budgets, coordinating purchasing and inventory, collaborating with marketing for outreach, and ensuring a high-quality boarding facility at Best Friends Pet Care in Kansas City. The role emphasizes leadership, operations, client relationships, and compliance within a pet-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of management experience overseeing a team of 10+ employees
