Job Summary
Senior Operations Management Trainee program across BioLife plasma centers with relocation upon program completion; fast-paced, high-growth leadership track culminating in Plasma Center Operations Manager role. The program includes six months of expedited training, up to 12 months to achieve a Plasma Center Manager position, and travel across the country (up to 95%) to learn the business, network with leaders, and gain hands-on experience. Responsibilities include team management, performance feedback, staff planning and recruiting, employee development and mentorship, providing operational support in fast-paced plasma collection facilities, ensuring exceptional donor experiences, potential production assistance, and opportunity to open new centers. Travel, mentorship, and cross-location collaboration are key components, with advancement opportunities within BioLife’s nationwide network.
Required Qualifications
- Relocation required upon graduation/completion of Trainee Program
- 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports)
- Up to 90-100% travel during the Trainee Program
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations across the country
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Have a valid driver’s license for the entire duration of the program
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear
