Center Manager for Plasma Donation Center

Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Plasma Collection Center, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with FDA, OSHA, and cGMP regulations, and maintaining facility safety. Drive efficiency by meeting quarterly goals, controlling labor costs per liter, and optimizing headcount for production spikes. Oversee donor selection, plasma collection, shipment, and inventory management while mentoring team members and handling disciplinary actions. Submit daily and weekly reports, manage donor funds, and lead community outreach to attract and retain donors. Handle freezer alarms and equipment failures directly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in clinical or general business environment
- Ability to understand, assess and communicate FDA regulations
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities
- Ability to ensure proper staffing levels
- Ability to maintain adequate levels of plasma collection
- Ability to adhere to quality standards
- Ability to control costs and maintain a budget
- Ability to motivate staff to achieve established goals and standards
- Ability to develop positive relationships with donors, center employees, and company employees working in different geographical locations
- Developing command of and proficiency in at least one functional area, such as finance, IT, HR, or compliance
- Ability to relocate
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- Prior management experience, preferably supervising a group of 20 or more employees
- Experience in a medical and/or cGMP regulated environment
- Experience with plasma or whole blood
- Ability to understand, assess and communicate FDA regulations
