Job Summary
Center Manager for a Part-Time senior community center overseeing daily operations, programming, participant engagement, and administrative coordination. Collaborates with leadership and community stakeholders to ensure a welcoming, safe, and participant-focused environment. Responsibilities include opening/closing the facility, coordinating meals and snacks, coordinating daily activities and special programming (guest speakers, wellness, arts and crafts, fitness, educational workshops), building partnerships with schools, churches, volunteers, and service providers, conducting participant surveys, supporting outreach and fundraising efforts, managing attendance records and logs, supervising part-time staff and volunteers, maintaining participant rosters and emergency contacts, and supporting reporting and documentation. Requires strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills; ability to work independently; experience with grant support, fundraising coordination, outreach, or nonprofit reporting preferred; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community-based programming, senior services, nonprofit administration, or related environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Services, Gerontology, Nonprofit Management, Public Health, Social Services, Community Development, or related field
