Job Summary
Center Manager to lead a 10+ animal-care team at Best Friends Pet Care. Oversee daily care routines (feeding, medicating, grooming, exercise, playtime; lifting large dogs) and ensure pets are safe, cared for, and monitored. Enforce safety protocols, manage emergencies with the District Manager, and ensure facility compliance with regulations. Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of 10+; build schedules balancing pet care with budget efficiency; act as liaison between frontline staff and headquarters. Deliver exceptional service to pet parents, cultivate client relationships, and drive community outreach in collaboration with marketing. Manage payroll, budgets, inventory, and purchasing; maintain a positive culture focused on growth and teamwork. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least 2 years of management experience overseeing 10+ employees, and hands-on animal care knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of management experience overseeing a team of 10+ employees (required)
- Hands-on animal care experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare practices

- Stellar communication skills and a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead
