Job Summary
Cross-cover Fertility Preservation and General IVF cycles, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care. Set priorities when organizing care for patients with varying acuity, administer medications safely, and document patient care clearly and concisely. Develop comprehensive educational and discharge plans for patients and families, utilizing appropriate resources and community referrals. Collaborate with other disciplines, participate in unit-based quality improvement programs, and support operational needs across the unit as required. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of fertility preservation workflows and triage patient phone calls.
Required Qualifications
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years reproductive endocrinology/IVF/fertility ambulatory office experience
- experience of co-managing IVF cycles
- basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
