Job Summary
Lead daily school operations and ensure full compliance with Article 47 regulations; coach and develop teaching staff through evaluations and professional development; manage enrollment pipeline, tours, and family onboarding; monitor financial performance and support revenue growth initiatives; ensure curriculum implementation aligns with brand standards; maintain a strong, visible leadership presence in the school. The role focuses on leadership, enrollment growth, operational excellence, budgeting, and parent communication within a licensed NYC early childhood program, requiring a NYS teaching certification, extensive regulatory knowledge, and a track record of building high-performing teams and achieving enrollment targets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Education Director in a licensed early childhood program
- NYS Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification (per DOH requirements)
- Extensive knowledge of Article 47 regulations and NYC DOH compliance
- Strong understanding of enrollment management, marketing, and retention strategies
- Experience managing school financials, budgeting, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and retain a large team
- Exceptional parent communication and conflict resolution skills
