Job Summary
Center Director responsible for people leadership, curriculum alignment with brand standards, licensing compliance, and customer focus for families. Responsibilities include recruiting and interviewing teacher candidates, conducting classroom observations and evaluations, managing staffing and schedules to maintain ratios and budgeted labor, coaching and developing center staff, maintaining records for licensing, audits, and safety, leading tours for prospective families, communicating student progress, ensuring show-and-tell activities, and managing safety drills and incident reporting. Requires center leadership/management experience (1+ year required; 2+ years highly preferred), professional teaching experience with infants–preschool, and a Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field preferred; CPR and First Aid preferred. Location: Bayside, NY, USA; full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred
- At least one year of center leadership/management experience required
- Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children
- Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- CPR and First Aid Certification highly preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines
