Job Summary
Center Director leading people and operations in an early education center. Responsibilities include identifying and interviewing teacher candidates, building talent networks, conducting classroom observations and evaluations, ensuring curriculum aligns with brand standards, coaching and developing staff, maintaining appropriate teacher-student ratios, managing new hire paperwork and employee files to licensing requirements, coordinating center schedules, and overseeing family communications and center activities. The role also covers health, safety, licensing compliance, relationships with state licensors, emergency drills, incident reporting, medication management, and monthly center evaluations. Requires strong leadership, scheduling and budget management, and knowledge of state licensing rules; Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of center leadership/management experience
- At least one year of center leadership/management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- CPR and First Aid Certification highly preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
