Job Summary

Directs school operations as Center Director for Learning Care Group, overseeing staff scheduling, performance evaluation, curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, and the creation of a safe, educational environment for children and families. Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining quality staff, coaching and communicating standards with teachers, ensuring profitability and adherence to company and state licensing standards, promoting the organization’s image, and maintaining strong parent communication. Requires leadership in staff development, adherence to background screening requirements, and attainment of state director requirements. Minimum age 21 and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; a CDA, associate’s or bachelor's degree is preferred in early childhood education or related field; 1-2 years supervisory/management experience in early childhood education is strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply
  • Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements
  • 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred
