CENTER DIRECTOR - Hagerstown

Center Director is responsible for the overall administration of the Adult Day Service program, including oversight of finances, therapeutic activity programming, care planning, quality assurance, staffing, training, program admissions, as well as marketing and community relations. Responsibilities include developing and implementing program policies and goals, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Maryland Department of Health Medical Day Care regulations, Department on Aging regulations, and Medicaid), hiring and supervising staff and volunteers, managing billing and financial records, developing and managing annual budgets, coordinating transportation services, and fostering linkages with the central Easterseals office and community partners. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with emphasis on ensuring quality care and effective program operations for adults and seniors. Education and experience prerequisites include a Bachelor degree and at least three years of management experience in related field plus three or more years working with seniors or adults with functional impairments in a health care setting, along with the ability to read, interpret regulations and write reports. The position also involves performance of supervisory duties, staff development, and adherence to confidentiality and policy procedures.
