Job Summary
Center Director responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Arkids Pediatric Day Centers location, ensuring regulatory compliance, staff onboarding and training, payroll and budgeting, CACFP and licensing adherence, performance evaluations, and effective communication with parents and leadership. Key duties include interviewing and hiring, maintaining personnel files, submitting onboarding checklists, managing payroll and reimbursements, overseeing purchasing, quarterly and annual reporting, staff development, safety drills, and program growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- BSE in Early Childhood Education or a bachelor’s degree and has at least one of: current Certification in Arkansas For Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education, current child development associate's certificate, current birth to pre-K credential, or documented experience working with children with special needs and twelve (12) hours of completed college courses in early childhood, child development, special education, elementary education, or child and family studies;
- Prefer a minimum of 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years of management experience
- Clear Criminal Record Check, Arkansas Child & Adult Maltreatment Regulatory Checks, FBI Regulatory Check, including National Sex Offender Registry
- Yearly completion of a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education through Arkansas Professional Development Registry (PDR)
- Completion of Director’s Orientation within 6 months of hire
- Travel as needed
- Valid Arkansas Driver’s License, including P endorsement if needed
- Clear Driving Record
