Job Summary
Provide direct support in classrooms, playgrounds, kitchen operations, and family services while ensuring safety and health compliance. Actively supervise children, engage them in developmentally appropriate activities, and assist with physical caregiving tasks like lifting, feeding, and diaper changes. Collaborate with teachers to foster social-emotional growth, implement IEP/IFSP plans, and maintain sanitation standards for meals and classrooms. Adhere strictly to CACFP rules and supervision policies. This entry-level role requires physical stamina for extended standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, with bilingualism as a plus. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable sitting on the floor, crawling, running, and performing tasks associated with caring for children aged 0-5
- Current CPR permit
- Current First Aid permit
- Current Food Handler's permit
- Ability to acquire CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler's permits within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CDA (Childhood Development Associate)
- AA in Early Childhood Education
- AA in a related field
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English
