Job Summary
Center-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, following prescribed skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, collecting and summarizing data, assisting with caregiver training, timely documentation, communicating progress to parents, ensuring safe and organized therapy environments, and supporting preparation of client materials and assessments. Requires current RBT certification or willingness to complete required training and exam; HS diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50lbs; reliable transportation; 18+; CPR/First Aid willingness; strong communication and data-entry skills; and a patient, professional demeanor. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must hold and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or be willing to complete a 40 hour training and sit for RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment
- Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- TB test if you had not had one in the past year
- Must be able to physically perform job activities (lift up to 50lbs, get on the floor, move quickly if required) and maintain reliability for scheduled therapy appointments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions
- Strong cultural competency and flexibility
- Experience with data recording on mobile devices and navigating digital applications
- Ability to remain professional and patient with clients and caregivers
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation and, in some cases, driver's license and valid car insurance
