Job Summary
Center-Based Behavior Technician providing one-on-one support to children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA techniques, while reducing interfering behaviors. Role requires patience, teamwork, and physical ability to move and assist children as needed (up to 50 pounds). Comprehensive training is provided. Primary duties include applying behavior intervention plans, collaborating with the BCBA, and contributing to meaningful outcomes for children and families. This position offers an opportunity to grow within behavioral analysis and make a tangible impact in clients’ daily lives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
- Ability to obtain Tuberculosis test
- Ability to pass preemployment background check
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding requirements
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds)
