Job Summary
Center-Based Behavior Technician role providing one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA guidance. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing interfering behaviors. Training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate, team-oriented, and comfortable with physical activity (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds) as clients may be move-active. Pay range $17-$20 per hour (annualized to $35,360-$41,600).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
