Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism under BCBA guidance while teaching communication, social, and daily living skills. Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques and engage in physical activities involving lifting up to 50 pounds, squatting, and carrying objects. Work one-on-one with clients to support their development, requiring patience, compassion, and the ability to function in a team environment. Comprehensive training is provided to equip candidates for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
