Job Summary
Center-based teacher for infants/toddlers responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum, guiding daily classroom routines, and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment. Role includes communicating with families about children’s development, completing forms and records, and participating in required trainings to meet EEC/Head Start requirements. Eligible candidates typically hold a CDA credential and MA EEC Infant/Toddler certification, with 1–2 years of infant/toddler experience; bilingual applicants encouraged. Schedule: 32.5 hours/week, 8:00 am–3:00 pm; location: Taunton, MA. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement plan with agency match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher Infant/Toddler certified
- Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices with 1-2 years’ minimum experience working with infant/toddler children.
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
