Job Summary
Center-based teacher responsible for guiding preschool activities for infants/toddlers, including curriculum implementation, daily classroom activities, and arranging materials in a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include assisting with developmentally appropriate activities, communicating with families about child progress, facilitating classroom activities (including field trips) and maintaining records, plus completing required training to meet EEC and Head Start requirements. Requires CDA and MA EEC Infant/Toddler certification, 1-2 years of infant/toddler experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours/week, 8:00 am–3:00 pm; bilingual (English with Spanish/Portuguese/Haitian-Creole) encouraged. Required Qualifications
- Minimum CDA (Child Development Associate) credential
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher Infant/Toddler certified (Agency offers certification if not obtained independently)
- Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices with 1-2 years’ minimum experience working with infant/toddler children.
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
