Job Summary
Center Aide assists center staff with a variety of duties including welcoming visitors, clerical tasks, and supporting classroom teachers with child-directed and teacher-directed activities; provides sick room and bus/cook assistant support, custodial duties, playground supervision, and record-keeping; communicates positively with staff, parents, and children; attends local staff and parent meetings and trainings; fosters understanding of Head Start mission and program services while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and compliance with Head Start and licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Six months experience working within a variety of responsibilities to include working with young children, cooking in a restaurant, or cleaning in an industrial setting
