Job Summary
Assist center staff in implementing a balanced mix of child-directed and teacher-directed activities following Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations. Support teachers with classroom activities, supervise children on the bus and in the playground, handle routine custodial and kitchen duties, contribute to data entry and records, deliver courteous visitor reception, ensure safety and confidentiality, and participate in local staff/parent meetings and training to support program services and a safe, healthy environment for children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Six months experience working within a variety of responsibilities to include working with young children
- cooking in a restaurant
- cleaning in an industrial setting
