Job Summary
Center Administrator leads nursing care supervision and patient scheduling across multiple onsite locations in the Dayton area, partnering with center leadership to implement center policies and objectives.Responsibilities include coordinating patient-care activities with surgeons and anesthesia providers, managing staffing and scheduling to ensure efficient operations, upholding nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements, overseeing safety and infection control, monitoring FTE utilization, and driving continuous quality improvement across clinical areas. Strong emphasis on collaboration, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare-management setting. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with healthcare-management experience and familiarity with ASC environments; CPR and ACLS certifications are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College/University (Master’s Degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of healthcare-management experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
- RN License is Preferred
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
- Ability to supervise nursing care and patient scheduling in accordance with center policies and objectives
- Experience presenting information effectively and communicating with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and physicians
- Computer literacy and familiarity with center operations and policies
