Job Summary
Center Administrator role overseeing daily operations of an ambulatory surgery center, collaborating with Medical Directors and Board Members, supervising nursing and patient care, credentialing of medical staff, and leading Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement efforts. Develops and interprets policies and procedures, monitors regulatory/ accrediting requirements, manages vendor services, and drives cost containment and efficient resource use. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least 5 years of healthcare-management experience, ASC experience (2–3 years), CPR and ACLS certification, and is oriented toward coordinating with physicians, staff, and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College/University (Master’s Degree preferred)
- At least (5) years of healthcare-management experience
- At least 2–3-year experience in an ASC
- RN License is Preferred
- CPR certification and ACLS certification
- Computer literacy
- Ability to multi – task effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of infection control, environment of care, and emergency preparedness
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and physicians
