Job Summary
GLOBAL OPERATIONS & INNOVATION LABORATORY INTERN will provide support for internal administrative activities and processes within the laboratory, participate in maintenance/calibration/verification plans for equipment, assist with procurement and inventory management of consumables, sample registration, expense reporting, internal document control, and collaboration on laboratory tasks including sample preparation, chemical/physical analysis, and material characterization. The role requires strong communication (oral, written, visual), organization, time management, self-direction, and the ability to work in a cement laboratory environment with physical tasks; candidates should be in 6th–8th semester in Industrial Engineering, Business Management Engineering, or Business Administration, available 25–30 hours/week for 6 months starting July 2026, and prepared to support health and safety procedures and office-related activities while leveraging tools like MS Office, SAP, and potentially Lean/ISO/5S/Toyota Production System methods.

- Self-directed, highly motivated, and capable of prioritizing responsibilities and tasks.
- Strong analytical and data organization skills; ability to synthesize information and present results and project updates.
- Physical capability to work in an operational environment with potential physical risks (materials testing and preparation laboratory).
- Ability to lift weights within standard limits: up to 20 kg for women and 25 kg for men.
- Independent learner, capable of quickly acquiring knowledge and performing tasks autonomously while following established protocols.
- Negotiation skills, supplier management, procurement coordination, inventory control, and supplier sourcing.
- Computer skills: MS Office, SAP, and digital design tools.
- Preferred qualifications: Lean principles (Lean Manufacturing), ISO standards, 5S, Toyota Production System, web page design, and Microsoft SharePoint.
