Job Summary
GLOBAL DATA SCIENCE INTERN role supporting the Global Data Science team in exploratory problem exploration and definition of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models, plus visualization tools and model consumption. Responsibilities include identifying and mapping data sources, developing queries, processing data, conducting exploratory data analysis with dashboards, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, performing feature engineering, developing prediction/prescription models with Machine Learning or AI techniques, and validating/improving models. Skills highlighted include Python or R programming, Jira, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI; CSS/HTML is desirable. Semester requirements and start date are specified, with emphasis on teamwork, results orientation, and storytelling with data.
Required Qualifications
- Programming in scripting languages such as R or Python (preferably Python)
- Familiarity with visualization dashboards such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Desirable knowledge of CSS, HTML, Snowflake
