Job Summary
Guide and coach coworkers completing cemetery operations maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety. Implement daily work schedules to prepare gravesites for services, adjusting assignments as needed for ongoing services. Perform cemetery maintenance duties including installing outer burial containers, lowering device setup, and managing interment procedures. Hand dig graves, disinterment, and maintain tools and equipment while providing constructive feedback to staff. Identify and implement approved efficiencies within new work structures. Work outdoors in all seasons with frequent kneeling or standing up to six hours daily. May work beyond standard hours as business needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid State driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company vehicles
- At least two (2) years industry experience

- Interment layout, memorial setting, and operating cemetery maintenance equipment
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to use power and electrical equipment
- Ability to use manual hand tools such as clippers, loppers, and hedgers
- Ability to drive all-terrain quad vehicles with hitched trailers
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
