Job Summary
Perform cemetery ground maintenance and assist in cemetery operations including conducting burials; follow work order process to respond to family upkeep requests; work individually and as part of a team to provide a high standard of service to cemetery visitors. Starting wage of $17 per hour; opportunities for increases; full benefits package, retirement benefits, PTO, provided uniforms, heavy equipment training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Vocational degree preferred
- 3-5 years groundskeeping or landscaper experience
- 2-4 years operating heavy equipment and using power tools
- General ground and facility maintenance knowledge and skills
- Ability to perform math calculations and measurements
- Ability to conduct oneself with a “Family First” approach
- History of working with others as part of a team
- Valid state issued driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance
