Job Summary
Perform all landscape maintenance duties including weed-whacking and lawn mowing, while maintaining equipment and operating machinery safely. Install cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials, and handle day-to-day general maintenance tasks. Manage snow removal when applicable and ensure the safety and security of employees and visitors. Execute memos and directives from the Grounds Superintendent, adhering to all operational standards. This role requires availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School equivalency
- 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs
- Valid state driver's license
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed
