Job Summary
Cuts grass, maintains lawns, trims around trees and walkways, lays sod, and blows leaves. Clears debris from drives and walkways, edges with a stick edger, and cleans ponds and fountains. Performs hand digging and trenching for grave sites, locates graves, digs, installs crypt faces, memorials, and monuments, and conducts interments, entombments, and inurnments. Maintains overall appearance and cleanliness of funeral homes and mausoleums, performs minor repairs and painting, and assists in loading and unloading caskets. Washes vehicles and golf carts. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and six months of grounds keeping experience. Compensation is $22.62 - $23.94/hr with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and union benefits.
