Job Summary
Monitor kiln and mill processes during assigned shifts, adjusting raw and finish grinding systems to maintain safe, efficient plant performance. Coordinate control room activities, prepare work orders on SAP, and conduct daily shift reports and safety toolbox meetings. Execute field inspections, maintain continuous surveillance of operations, and liaise with quality control for uniform processing. Provide on-the-job training to team members, perform minor repairs, and request assistance from service departments as needed. Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule covering PTO as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working as a shift supervisor or control room leader at a cement manufacturing plant
- Will need to be able to cover PTO as needed
- Will need to be able to work on 12 hour rotating shift
- Strong working knowledge of Safety/MSHA
- Team leadership skills
